Apple iPad is the newest tablet computer on the planet! There are a bunch of things that consumers don’t know, but now it’s getting clearer after its launch. Here we go! Top ten things for those who want to get this sleek device in your hands.
The best part is that iPad has the most expensive version GPS like the 3G. This a good news for those who did not catch up with the news at the iPhone launch, as there was no reference to GPS.
apple ipadWell, the second best thing is that this new silicon sensation lets you store files in a striking way. This was demonstrated in the new Apple iWork applications. It’s better than any past iPod or iPhone. The best part of the iPad is that it as this less geeky version of iPod Disk Mode for iPhone. This displays a drop box folder for your computer. For a better understanding, it’s like a flash drive. This disk shares contents with your personal computer. This place is also where the photos might be saved as well. Still it remains to be discovered whether files in this folder will be synchronized automatically to iTunes with the rest of the iPad’s contents.
Next, different bodies for the 3G plus the Wi-Fi iPads. Apple has not yet revealed to the world about the top back or the bottom of the 3G iPad. If you have not noticed you might have missed the big plastic antenna stripe and a SIM card compartment on the top back of this world class one and only tablet computer.
Let’s talk about Micro SIM and3G Service. It’s not very clear that who will choose to be the carries through this particular hoop to support the device. Apple’s SIM card tray for the iPad uses a new Micro SIM card. This is also known as 3FF SIM. This is so very new that it is not yet widely supported by the carriers. This is because the Apple is likely to either prepare carriers for a similar switchover with the iPhone 4G or a smaller future model. Its very small physically and its very easy to lose it, if you try to remove it. Since of this change any old 3G SIM card cannot be popped in and cannot be expected to access a foreign country’s cellular network, where ever you are.
Let’s see the version or new style of Apple. Apple hinted broadly that other carriers and deals may be forthcoming. It will be worthy writing a book about whatever is going on between Apple and Verizon. The iPad not only is launching without Verizon involvement. Nothing is exclusive about AT &T, either. There is no other second carrier announced. But one thing is worth noticing is that Apple has left out CDMA hardware support in 3G altogether. All of us can sit holding our breaths for the months April and May, as Apple has hinted broadly that other carriers and deals may be forthcoming.
